We had a very busy weekend. Mocha and Jazz were able to visit a local AKC show for some much needed socialization! I learned a lot about poodle show grooming from Kathryn Bolin of Aurak Standard Poodles and the girls learned a lot about waiting in a crate and walking around a dog show without being totally rude. Kathryn did a great “Show Groom” on Mocha last week. I was happy to have a nice looking puppy for a few days! 🙂 If you live in central TX and need a great groomer, Kathryn is the person to see! She owns House Of Grooming in Killeen, TX.
Today was a great day for mail! I just received Rivers OFA results for Thyroid, SA, Elbows, and Hips. Results are as follows
OFA HIPS: GOOD
OFA ELBOWS: NORMAL
OFA SA: No Evidence of Sebaceous Adenitis / Phenotypically Normal
OFA THYROD: NORMAL
Now we will wait for the results to be posted on the OFA website, next to his CERF certification for this year. Hopefully I will receive his CHIC number soon, as well as the results for the two DNA test: DM and NE
