Georgie and River November 2011

I am happy to announce that Georgie came into season this past weekend, which is almost perfect timing!  Zelda’s babies will be going to their new homes right when Georgie is due to give birth.  I always prefer having one litter at a time.  Georgie will be bred to River, because our attempt last year with Tibby and shipped semen failed (and Tibby is now neutered!!).  River now lives with Georgie, so we have high hopes!  Georgie is 5 years old and never had a litter.  Her clock is ticking.  This will be our second and last litter for the year.

Georgie is a lovely Blue female who has her Rally-O novice title and is an active Therapy Dog with TDI.  Georgie is a fun loving and active girl with a great love of life.  Georgie’s health testing can be seen here:

River November 2011

River is a sweet Black boy.  He is calm, sweet, gentle, and less ‘in your face’ than Georgie.  Courtney is working on his Rally and Therapy training and I am sure this young boy will have both done in short order.  River’s health testing results can be seen here:

Both River and Georgie are fostered by Courtney and her family in Northwest Arkansas.  Courtney is not a breeder, she is just a wonderful person willing to keep a few of my dogs intact for future breeding.  The dogs she keeps are her pets first and formost!  She has put some titles on her poodles in order to help show the great temperament her dogs have.  I will not place my dogs in homes that kennel, so people like Courtney are extremely important to my breeding program.  A great foster home is worth their weight in gold!  Courtney has been supporting my breeding program for almost 10 years and hopefully Georgie will help us out and have this much anticipated litter of babies.  Georgie is a granddaughter of my beloved Merlot and it is my hope to keep one of her babies for myself.  Please Georgie, don’t let me down!  🙂
