I am proud to announce the birth of 6 beautiful babies, 3 girls and 3 boys! These photos show 5 puppies, because we thought we were done when I did the photo session. Zelda surprised us with a 6th an hour after the other pups were born. Hopefully I will not have to update this with yet another addition!! We will see.
Birth order with weights is as follows:
Girl – Dark with white Blaze – 9.75 oz
Boy- Dark solid – 4.625 oz —- TINY!!
Boy – Dark Solid – 7.125 oz
Boy – Dark with white Blaze – 8.75 oz
Girl – Dark Solid – 10.75 oz
Girl – Dark Solid- 11.625 oz
We will not know if any of the pups are blues until much later, around 8-12 weeks. When faces are shaved at that time, I should see some highlights on any blue pups. Maybe some blue around the ears.
The little boy is nursing, but I will be picking up some formula just in case. He seems very eager to do well, so I have high hopes!
Price for a pet is $1500.00. If you are interested in this litter, please contact me soon. I have three homes waiting for this litter as of today. These pups should be suitable as performance dogs, therapy dogs, and wonderful pets. The parents are very stable dogs with outstanding temperaments. They will probably be small to mid size as adults (20-25 inches at the shoulders).

Oh Becky, they’re beautiful! You and Zelda did a great job! How wonderful that they were born on the 18th. That really makes it very special for me.

I know!! Can you believe they were born on the same day of the month as our boys?? Love it!!
Zelda looks exhausted, can’t blame her! It must be a lot of work bringing such beautiful babies into the world! 🙂
Yes! She’s been getting lots of Chicken Broth and Nutri-Cal to keep her blood sugar up and able to deal with the demands of babies. I’ll keep her on liquids for 24 hours, then we will start her back on real food.
How exciting! Congrats to all!!!! Yahoo!!!
Becky,
What a wonderful miracle…a miracle of hard work, exhaustion, excitement and most of all LOVE.

They are so cute! Glad to hear everything went well.
They are adorable!
Thanks everyone! Zelda is doing great!! She is careful, dedicated, and as reasonable as any new mom is about her babies. She doesn’t mind any of us holding them and was resting her head in Kenzie’s lap while Kenzie held one of her babies, not trying to take the baby back, not worried a bit about the baby fussing a little. She is a great dog and a perfect mom!
Congratulations! These are wonderful pictures, and I do thank you so much for sharing! I’m very glad all the pups are doing well, as well as Zelda.
