Today we had some overcast sky and decided to take the pups to the park for socialization and fun.
This first video we are learning how to navigate the slide.
In the second video we take a walk, learn how to follow and not fear new things.
In this last video we are getting a drink, cooling off, and heading to the car.
Jay is tentatively available for placement to an exceptional home. I can’t decide if I want to keep him, he is so amazing! The only problem is he is related to all my girls. He is 10 weeks old and will mature to be a large male, blue in color (around 26+ inches tall at the shoulders). He will make a great dog for doing just about anything. He is bright and also independent, yet still stable and confident. He is not hyper. He has a high prey drive so he will chase things that run, but I am working on this issue and he is responding well. He is doing excellent with our cats. He is a good retriever and loves to play tug. His temperament is my favorite to train and work with. Calm, focused, intelligent, social, confident.
Adopt fee is $1500.00 with limited AKC papers and a neuter agreement. Co-ownership or Foster home who will keep him intact for breeding later would be considered.
UPDATE: JAY HAS A HOME!
Georgie is the Dam of this litter and is a lovely blue. River is the Sire and is a holding black. Photo taken November 2011

PEDIGREE FOR GEORGIE X RIVER LITTER
The average Coefficient of Inbreeding for a Standard Poodle is 15%. This litter is 2.02%. The lower the number, the lower the inbreeding.
Genetic information for Test breeding GerogiexRiver from PoodlePedigree.com website:
The COI (Coefficient of Inbreeding) is calculated up to a maximum of 12 generations. The COI is calculated entirely from the pedigree information present in the database, so if there are inaccuracies in the pedigree, there will also be inaccuracies in the COI. I try to run the COI every Friday. If there is an error on Friday that means I will have to correct the error and rerun the coi on Saturday. For information on what the COI figure means, see http://www.canine-genetics.com/relation.htm, particularly where it discusses the inbreeding coefficient. For a more complete discussion of genetic principles, visit the Canine Diversity Project.

I’m so glad you got the sound working! Such big, brave, beautiful boys! I love seeing their little personalities. I’m so impressed with how well they did on the slide. Such fun.
Oh my gosshhhhhhhhhhhh I don’t know how I missed this earlier! These videos just made my whole day. Radar wants to know what’s up because I keep giggling. That first video especially, of them learning to climb the stairs and go down the slide, is a little poignant to me because those are two big memories I have from when Radar was little. I cannot believe I get to have another poodle in my life. I feel about as lucky as it gets. 🙂 And seeing them roll around in the water made me laaaaaaugh. Maybe Murry can teach Radar to like water! x)
