Tomorrow I plan to do a full blown photo shoot on the babies.  I LOVE photographing infant puppies.  They are sooooo sweet and if you know the tricks they are simple to capture in stills (nice warm heating pad under the babies to make them sleep sound).  In order to not stress out the pups, I did some pre-photos this evening.  Not many, just a few to check lighting and background.  Nothing is worse than getting started only to have the photos come out with really bad focus, color, or light when you go to edit.  Jazz is doing a superb job of caring for the brood so I could leave the room for short periods of time.  I was super stealthy and snuck in to love on Jazz, then slipped a single puppy under my shirt.  Once the pup was settled, off I would go into the living room to experiment on the little doll.  The first puppy I grabbed happened to be a boy.   After I had him settled and took a couple shots, I went back in and grabbed another two boys.  That took a bit more cuddling on mom to let her guard drop, but I managed.  Then after a few shots of the three, I snatched up another, and another until I had all the boys.

I figured I’d be a nice person and share a few of these.  I do not have my main photo editing software loaded.  I have a new computer and just haven’t gotten around to loading up Photoshop Elements or my action presets.  I need to do that if I plan on editing a load of photos tomorrow.  However, for now you can enjoy these.  I cropped one and hit a couple with black and white.  Otherwise they are raw, right out of the camera.

So, post a comment.  Do you like the Color or Black and White???

And because everyone LOVES a video, here is a short one with puppy noises to top off your night.

I love puppy noises…. until it is 2AM… or until they stop making noise and it freaks me out even more waking me from a dead doze (no deep sleep for me this week).  Yeah I’m a bit strung out, but so blessed.  It isn’t any worse than human twins and I did that for 6 months!!
