Wow, what a busy Thanksgiving.  I hope everyone had a great holiday.  I know we enjoyed our time as a family here at home.  Generally we are rushing around, but with such young puppies we were forced to stay home and simply relax.  I found it refreshing.  I did groom up Mica, Lina, and Jazz.  Poor River was left out, but the thought of doing yet another dog had me a little sick to my stomach.  I’ll get him done this week and hopefully grab a few photos of him to share here on the blog.  The dad can’t always be left out!

I snapped a few photos of Jazz after her groom last week.  I think she looks really good for the number of babies she is feeding.  She could use a few pounds, but that will come once the pups start eating some solids.  At least we do not have to worry about mastitis!  She is putting down the food and is enjoying her expanded food selection.  The sheer number of eggs and 3 lb cottage cheese buckets I am going though is incredible!!

The puppies are growing like WEEDS!  All are fat, happy, sleeping well, and enjoying human contact.  They are getting really really cuddly!!  Over half the litter have their eyes open and the others are getting there.  I think by tomorrow everyone will be able to glimpse this great world of ours.  I’ve tied ribbon around them for this photo shoot so I could tell which puppy I had photographed and make sure I had everyone.  It can get confusing with you have 11 solid black puppies!!
