Time flies when you are a busy mom to both dogs and kids.  Between the births, birthdays, and holidays I am having a hard time seeing what I am accomplishing.  I KNOW I am working my butt off, but time is slipping by and I don’t ‘feel’ like I am getting much done.  Anyway, most adults have been here at one point in their life or another, not whining just reflecting.

I did manage to take Lina in for a professional groom today at House of Grooming, owned by Kathryn of Aurak Poodles.  It had been 6 weeks and the hair was getting out of control.  She is a hair growing machine, let me tell ya.  We talked about her size, and if she would be tall enough to show as a puppy and do anything in AKC.  Kathryn said she would wicket her after her groom and we could know for sure where she stands (pun intended).  Turns out my tiny baby is 11 inches tall at 5 months.  Kathryn has a female puppy 2 weeks older and Lina’s cousin.  She is 1.5 inches taller.  I don’t know how fast the line matures, but her mom was small, so there is a good chance she won’t grown a lot more.  We will see if she can compete in AKC, where they like the Mini’s to be near the top of the Standard (near 15 inches).  First I will tackle UKC for some show experience in January.

Here are a few photos I took after we arrived home.  No help to distract her, she wanted to be right under my feet… and no real stack photos, just some running around the circle watching the birds and squirrels.
