ANUTTA BLOWIN’ IN THE WIND
(River x Jazz puppy.  6 months old)

About a month ago I placed Dylan in a foster home near Austin on a temporary basis.   This home wanted a puppy from the upcoming Ziva litter, but when I spoke to them about Dylan they decided an opportunity to take a half trained teenager might not be a bad idea.  They have another dog, older children, and a lifestyle that fits well with an active boy like Dylan.  After only a few days they felt he was a good match.  Life has been busy for us and today was the first time I could meet up with them, evaluate how he was doing, and grab some photos before we move out of state.  He continues to grow into an outstanding dog, as far as size and conformation.  He is going to be large and beautiful.  If you look at the side photo above, you can see his conformation is amazing.  I would say his body is as good as I could hope for, with correct shoulder lay back,  correct rear angulation, perfect top line and tail set, adequate length of neck. good depth of chest, nice tight feet).  His blue coloring is very clear already, so I believe he will be a light blue like his mother, Jazz.  He also gets along well with their other dog, which is extremely important.   I couldn’t be more pleased with how things are working out for this boy.  Sure he has issues like any teenage poodle.  His love of paper knowns no bounds.  They detailed how he will run into the bathroom, grab the TP and take off running with it streaming behind.  He is sly and super fast!  He knows that is inappropriate.  This is such a Poodle trait.  Very smart, often to smart for their own good!

Today we signed the foster paperwork.  Everything is official.  Dylan is there to stay!  They will work on getting a title on him and hopefully in a few years he can be bred back to Mica, who lives down in San Antonio.   Those will be some amazing silver and blue babies!

For now he will continue to learn, grow, and mature into the wonderful Poodle boy we all see in his future.
