Life With Poodles

12 week old Mini Poodle in Nashville!

by | Nov 30, 2015 | Uncategorized | 0 comments

A good friend has a lovely male Miniature puppy looking for the perfect home.  He is 12 weeks old and apricot in color.  Both sire and dam have their AKC Championship title in conformation.  Dad also has his Masters Agility Championship and Obedience Trial Championship titles, as well as mid level titles in Rally and his Junior Hunter title!!!  Dam has her Open Agility titles in AKC and I am sure she will gain her MACH before she is done showing.  She is still a very young dog.

This puppy would do best in an active home.  Performance would be great, but not needed for placement.  He needs a home that enjoys a dog who will fetch, play games, go on runs, be a great hiking partner, etc.  He isn’t hyper, but he isn’t a couch potato.  Just looking at his pedigree tells you he comes from very intellect bloodlines.  He will need some mental stimulation.  If I had the room, I would snatch him up.  He sounds like my sort of boy and very similar to Lina in personality, but much less shy than my girl.  The thing about Mini’s is they are small enough and smart enough to entertain themselves inside a home.  Lina will toss her toy all over the living room while we watch TV in the evenings.  I’m guessing this boy will be the same.  As far as size, Linda expects him to stay in size, but mature out at about 14-15 inches.  A nice size boy!

If you are interested in this puppy, please contact Linda H. Gower at pudeltime@bellsouth.net.  Linda lives not far from Nashville, TN and has raised this baby in her home.  She only has one Standard Poodle and two Mini’s, so he has gotten a ton of love and attention.  He is well socialized with both large dogs and cats.   Again, contact Linda, not me.  This is not my puppy.
