I met Connie in Chattanooga today and picked up 7 beautiful babies.  Of the original 9 both Apple and Lime collars have found homes, but everyone else has come to “Camp Baxter” for some fun and training.  Here is a short video I took of the group so you can see where the babies will be staying while they are in my care.

Currently I have 3 approved applications for this litter, although one family might wait until Jazz has her litter next year.  They already have a Jazz puppy from her litter 3 years ago, so I can understand their dilemma.   I also have one new application pending approval.  These are sweet, beautiful babies who have all taken this dramatic change in stride.  They are low to medium in drives and should be extremely easy to train and shape to your homes needs.  Bone collar boy is the highest drive puppy in the litter and his temperament is more in line with my ‘normal- medium drive’ puppies, so these guys are going to be pretty laid back overall and should mature quickly.

If you are thinking about one of these babies, please contact me soon so I can start your application process. When you contact me will determine your selection order.  If you already have an application on file with me for a future litter, please contact me again to show interest in these guys.  Do not assume I know you might want one.

I will be collecting DNA samples of the pups later today or tomorrow and mailing them off as soon as possible.  Once I have the results I will decide which puppy I am keeping for myself, then the selection process can start for everyone else.  I might be interested in fostering the puppy I keep for show and future breeding from this litter with a home in Texas.  Contact me if you might be interested in that aspect.

Current coat colors for these pups: 2 brown males, 4 black males, and 1 black female.  Some of the black pups could fade to blue.  Several of the blacks look like dark blues to me, but I need to bath and shave their faces to know for sure.  Both browns show some fading around the face, so I expect them to fade to a cafe’ color as adults.  If you are looking for a holding black or brown, this is NOT your litter.

I will be doing a longer video tomorrow so you can see more about their temperaments, plus I have a ton of kids coming over to make Halloween costumes and it will be a great time to socialize babies!

For those interested purchase price is $1800.00 for limited registration as pets.  Show homes will need to be approved by Connie Hutchin’s of Highview Poodles.
