I think we have reached a milestone!  Generally, I have a few people in each litter who are repeat buyers.  With Cadence and Tango’s litter we could reach a point where the entire litter goes to Anutta Poodle homes!  This is both exciting and frustrating.  As a breeder I am thrilled so many people trust me to supply them with yet another Poodle.  Sadly, this doesn’t leave much room for new folks to join our family.  Here is my current list of prospective repeat homes for the Cadence and Tango babies.

  1.  Me.  FEMALE, prefer dark.  I’ll likely be fostering the pick girl.
  2. Kerry in TX.  FEMALE.  Kerry is Cadence’s mom.  She has decided she wants to be a breeder!  We are excited she will be keeping one of the girls and offering the world more Poodles in Texas!  We all know I am not keeping up with demand!  I’ve been working with her and her best friend, Tanya on how to breed dogs the right way.  Exciting stuff!
  3. Rachael in TX.  FEMALE PREFERRED but will take any sex or color.  Rachael has Flynn from the Billie x Cash litter.  She’s been wanting to add another Poodle for a year!
  4. Sherri in CA.  LARGE MALE PREFERRED.  Sherri has been with us from the beginning.  She had Elvira from the first litter we produced.  This will be her 4th Anutta Poodle.  She does need a large male, so it will depend on several factors if she takes a puppy from this litter or waits for Jazz’s upcoming litter later in the year.
  5. Summer in AK and FL.  LARGE MALE PREFERRED.  Summer has also been with us from our first litter as well and is tentatively interested in this litter.   She has some special needs / request that might take some time to fill.  This will be her 3rd Anutta Poodle.
  6. Robin in CO.  MALE PREFERRED, but open to either sex.  Does not want a white.  Robin has Lapa and became part of our family when we lived in Colorado.   They are tentative at this point, so they might wait for a future litter.
  7. Tess in TX.  FEMALE, CREAM / WHITE PREFERRED.  Tess has Cadence’s sister, Charley!  She was so excited to see we were having this litter.
  8. Jan in PA.  FEMALE.  Jan also bought her first Anutta puppy, Sophie Rose, from us when we lived in CO back in 2007.  She was already a seasoned Standard Poodle owner, so we are thrilled she is looking for another family member from our line.

Sherri, Summer, and Robin are all tentative, due to specific requirements and current ‘life’ issues.

What does all this mean and why am I posting this list?

Well, I am a flawed human.  IF YOU ALREADY OWN AN ANUTTA POODLE AND WANT ON THIS LIST CONTACT ME NOW.  Even if you contacted me before, please remind me!  If your name is not above, your spot is not held yet.  All previous owners move ahead of new folks.  It is a perk of being part of the family.  I spent the last few days digging in my emails, attempting to make sure I had all of you.  Last night I was in a panic because I knew someone in San Antonio who had one of my pups contacted me to get another… but I couldn’t remember exactly which person it was.  Seriously.  I have about 8 owners in San Antonio.  I narrowed it down to Tess and Sandra, because I knew they owned a female black Jazz and River puppy… but man I couldn’t remember which of those two ladies it was, much less exactly what they wanted in their next puppy.  I have to write everything down and email search saves my bacon.  I pulled out my old contracts to check and see, but again no help.  Those River and Jazz girls look exactly the same and tested very similar.  About an hour into my frustrated search I realized the contact was made on Facebook.  That was the reason I couldn’t find any record of our written conversation on my AOL or GMAIL accounts.   It was Tess, btw.  🙂  So, it isn’t that I don’t love you guys.  I am human with a really bad memory, and with multiple contact options I am bound to drop the ball.

The other thing is I wanted to make sure all you wonderful new people who have applications in for a puppy are aware of the current situation without me having to drop an email to each of you this week.  Cadence could very well have a massive litter like Jazz, Jazz’s sister, and Jazz’s mom.  It is in the line, these 10 plus puppy litters.  Several families listed above might pass and wait for Jazz’s breeding to ensure they get a large enough dog with good drive to fit their needs for a service dog.  I personally think a female from Jazz would work for service, if we can get lower prey drive.  Regardless, please do not give up hope.  Let’s hold on tight until Cadence whelps and we know more of what we have.

Ok, heading back to my ‘take stuff off the walls, dust it, and store it in the closet before the packers come!” mission for the day.  Last night was “vacuum out the couch so I am not mortified when they take off the cushions” mission.  So much to do, so little time.

The boys from the Georgie and River litter many years ago.  Every post needs a photo, so here ya go!
