On the heels of Cadence and Tango puppy selection process, Jazz has FINALLY started showing!!  Yes indeed, our Jazz is pregnant.

If you see this post and are interested in this litter, please just drop me a quick “Hey Becky, just reminding you I am interested in this litter.  I would like a black female”.  Keep it short, but let me know what you want.  SEND ALL EMAILS TO ANUTTAPOODLE@GMAIL.COM .  I’m phasing out my 20 year old AOL account, and attempting to enter the 21st century.   If you are a previous Anutta Poodle owner and haven’t filled out an application in the last year, please send me a new one so I have recent information on file.  I will start building my list this week and let everyone know how things look.

Right now we are planning to keep:

  1.  GIRL:  Co-own one girl with Kerry in Austin.  She was hoping to get a girl from Cadence, but obviously that didn’t happen.
  2. BOY: Possibly foster one boy with Alison near Austin. This will heavily depend on his genetic testing and how he could be used with future girls or help the poodle gene pool.  If there isn’t a suitable male with really needed traits and genes, they will all go as pets.
  3. GIRL: Possibly keep a girl if the first girl who Kerry is taking doesn’t match up structurally or genetically with Code.  My eventual goal is to breed a girl from this litter to Code.  What Kerry wants might not be what I need for the program.

So one female will be taken, but up to 3 pups could be kept intact for breeding.  It will all depend on genetic testing, quality of the pups, and how many of each sex we have.  I know I have a TON of pet homes seeking girls, because of Cadence’s lack of female pups.  I also have a few of you seeking large males.  Hopefully she will have a nice size litter… but not to many.  Her first litter nearly slayed me!!  Jazz is eating well this time and I am staying on top of her nutrition, giving her a wide variety of food options that work well with expectant moms.  The fact that she is eating well at this time makes me hopeful for a less stressful 3 months.

Pups due Oct 9th, ready for homes by mid December 2017.

Tag and his mom Linda are super excited to have their first litter coming!

Jazz, well she just wants to sleep!!
