I’m finally coming up for air! Chime is doing fabulous and I was able to get some sleep last night. I crashed at 7pm and left Keith on puppy duty until he came to bed at 10pm. When I checked on Chime at 4AM, there was totally normal poops!! Needless to say, she is back with the pack! Chime is so joyous about having her siblings to play with. Toys are great, but they are not nearly as fun as another puppy.
I took the pups outside briefly for a bit of exploration and fun. We had a cold snap yesterday with some rain. This has made my plan to get them outside most of the day unattainable. Still, they enjoyed their 20 minutes of fun and slept like rocks after we came inside to the warm woolly bed. I’m hoping we will see temps more in the 60-70’s in a few days. Going from 90 to 40 degrees is tough on anyone, and unsuitable for babies.
Here are a few videos I put together from the last two days. It shows their new pen layout, litter box, and outdoor play area. I’ll be breaking out all the toys this weekend. A lot of stuff is packed away in the shed and some things are they just to small to enjoy like the baby pool with balls. I forgot to focus up on the netting we installed. I’ll try to get some video of the enclosure so you can see what we did. I’m happy with how it came out overall and it wasn’t hard to do.
