It’s turning into Miniature heaven here at Anutta!

Introducing Aurak The Force Awakens!

3 month old Silver Miniature Poodle puppy girl.

Her call name is REY, like the female lead in the new Star Wars saga.  I know, our nerd is showing, but that’s how we roll!

What?  Becky has 12 pups and she goes off and gets another??  Oh yeah, super crazy lady.  To be totally honest I had my new Mini on hold before I even bred Jazz.  I’m going all in on starting a quality Miniature breeding program and this little lady along with Emma and our co-owned boy Marshal will be our foundation.

So, how cute is REY!!!  Seriously cute I say!  She is sweet, gentle, and rarely barks.  I know… is that possible with a Miniature?  I say yes it is.  Rey is my first true lap dog in a small size.  She will sleep for hours in my lap if I let her and she simply MUST have a good nap on top of me in the evenings.  She is happy to sleep on me while I type or edit photos / video.

I picked up Rey over a week ago, but I have been so busy with the pups, my own sickness, and River’s weekend back pain that I didn’t have a moment to spare to announce her arrival.  She has walked into this house and charmed the lot.  Even River finds her adorable, if a touch annoying.  Emma and Rey are ‘besties’ and I think having the two will make my life a lot easier as far as training.  There is nothing like a little competition to make a dog work a bit harder for their human.

P. S. Our cream male Marshal received two Major’s last week at his first show weekend out with the handler.  He was shown 3 days and won Best of Winners one day for a 3 point and then Best of Winners / Best of Breed the next day for a 5 point major.  He only needs 5 single points to finish.  GO MARSHAL!!
