I’ve had the good fortune to be blessed with some of the best puppy owners on the planet. One of these families, Patti and Gene Downing, have just started a new business and I had the pleasure of getting a couple of their products. From the title of this blog post, you can probably guess what they make. Leashes, but not just any old leash! Lovely braided leather leashes! When I saw these I knew I had to have one… and then ended up buying two!The quality is great and construction is first class. They are strong but soft on the hands. The length is perfect for out on the town. I requested mine in metallic gold and red for Jazz, and metallic silver and blue for Lincoln. The colors are perfect for both pups!

From Obedience to Agility, these leashes will be functional and beautiful. I opted for the buckle version, but they do have a lovely martingale that can be custom made for your dogs neck. This is an ideal leash for running Agility as it is a collar and leash in one.

We have 12 colors of leather (with 2 more soon to be added)- the customer chooses 2 colors. We can custom braid snap leashes or martingale leashes. (42″ in length)— the martingale leash is custom fit based on the dog’s neck measurement.
