About Bret...

1. TEMPERAMENT.  A really sweet boy.  Not dominant and very playful.  Bret loves people and really enjoys showing.  He has bonded nicely with his AKC handler so we feel they are going to make an excellent team.  He's just over a year old so we will update this as he grows older.

2. CONFORMATION: Excellent AKC show conformation.  He has a very nice head and a decent front end.  He's a bit over angulated in the rear and has a softer coat than we prefer.

3. SIZE and COLOR: A mid size male.  Dark Blue genetically, but holding Black currently..

BRET and BREE will be bred the end of 2010 for a litter ready in early 2011!

This is: Bret AKC/ UKC Grand CH Tintlet Wisecracking Gambler PEDIGREE Bret  is a Levi X Ivy puppy from their Winter 2006 litter! Color: Blue

Bret is co-owned with his breeder Gloria Ogdahl and is living in TN with his handler while he gets ready to show in the AKC breed ring.

The second weekend of March Bret attended his first AKC shows at the Mountaineer Winter Fun Classic in Marietta, OH.  He achieved:
WD/BW 3 pts major with Judge Michele Billings
WD for 3 pts major with Judge Jon R Cole
WD/BW  for 3 pt major with Judge Robert J Moore

His Second weekend out he picked up 4 more single points leaving only 2 points for his AKC Championship.

His third weekend out he gain 1 more point.

So on his forth weekend out he got the last point needed on the fist day and was moved up to be a special at 1.5 years of age.  So, Bret was shown a grand total of 4 weekends in AKC to gain his championship.  That is a rare feat for a poodle.  We think keeping him out and not showing him within AKC until he was an adult might have helped.  He also had show experience with UKC also giving him an edge.  And he has such a wonderful relationship with his handler that he shows like a special as a year old baby and that doesn't hurt either.
