FLASH

Pictured here at 20 months

JULY 2007:
On Saturday Flash gets his first open standard leg and 3rd place with AKC Agility on his first time in the Open ring.  Woot Flash!  On Sunday he earned his second Open leg and second place!
In Jumpers Class: Flash gets his 3rd leg for his Novice Agility Jumpers title and first place!!  He now has his NAJ title with AKC.  On Sunday Flash was moved up to the Open class and earned his first Open Agility Jumpers leg and placed Second in his class!  WoW what a great dog!

This is: Flash
AKA: Karbit's Energizer NA, NAJ, CGC, TDI
Color: Black

DOB: Sept 2005

Flash is a newcomer to Anutta.  His Sire is German and his Dam is half German.  We are excited to have his bloodlines and hope he will bring diversity to the Poodles in our breeding program.  He has zero inbreeding on 8 generations (that's as far back as we have).

Flash will have a slightly different look, due to his German lines.  He will have more bone and be a heavier dog with a very old style head and a low tail set (due to the fact that the Germans do not dock).  We are excited to see how he matures.

Flash will be staying here and will be trained in Agility, Obedience, and maybe tracking.  He is VERY high drive and his litter was temperament tested by Jac Harbour who is known for her working Poodles.  We are very excited about this little boy!

APRIL 2008:
Our first time back in the Agility ring since June of last year (due to my pregnancy and the birth of the twins).  Flash gains his second Open Jumpers with Weaves Standard 20 inch class leg!  Woot Flash, way to come back in style!

JUNE 2007:
Flash gets two legs in Novice Standard June 2nd and 3rd for his NA title with a first place and a second place.  He also gets one more leg of his NAJumpers title.  Only one more leg in Jumpers to get that title done as well.  Watch for Flash at the Colorado Springs shows in July.

MARCH 2007
Flash gets First Place in Std Novice Agility for his first leg of his NA title at the Tucson shows and First Place in Jumpers with Weaves Novice Agility for his first NAJ leg at the Tucson

Watch the Video of his First 2 Agility Runs Here  (5.5mbs)  This was his first time in the Agility Ring.  Not bad for a young green dog!

Watch Flash run one round of Open Agility Standard class here! (4.7mbs) MOM'S 5 months Preg with Twins and not moving fast.  Don't blame Flash for her slow butt!!

SEPT 2007: Flash earns his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) titles

Flash has really good structure and movement

I'm gonna GET that BALL!

See, told ya I would get it!

What did you say mom?

Agility is FUN FUN FUN!

I "tether" all my pups while they are learning housetraining and manners.  So, Flash is tethered to this table.  I had cleaned off the coffee table and moved it so I could vacuum.  Well, I come back into the room after putting up the vacuum and find Flash, snoozing on it!  I was lucky the camera was in the kitchen!!  This is not good behavior, but I just couldn't get on to him!

  1. TEMPERAMENT.  VERY Friendly, outgoing, loving, high drive but knows when to shut it down and lay happily in my lap for attention.  Very very stable temperament.  Has never met a stranger.  When he was introduced to my horses for the first time, he licked them on the nose!!  What a pistol!  He has more retrieving drive than any poodle I have met.  When he attempts something he does it with all his heart and soul.  A great dog!

  2. CONFORMATION: Flash has a working style body.  He's a bit long in the loin which throws him off square, but his fabulous front and normal (moderate) rear angles make up for all that.  His tail set is low due to him being 3/4 german lines.  They breed for lower tail sets since they do not crop and wish to avoid curling tails.  He has a European head with a wide backskull, shorter muzzle, higher ear set, and light rounder eye.  His pigment is fabulous, coat texture is nice, color is holding black. His feet are tight and small.

  3. SIZE: He is going to be a very small male.  Currently 19.75 inches at 2.5 year

  4. HEALTH: Health testing listed below.  UPDATE NE tested Normal!  Flash has his Certification

PO-VW378/22M-PI VON WILLEBRANDS GENOTYPICALLY CLEAR FOR VON WILLEBRAND'S
    POS-5676 CERF TESTED: 07
    PO-16360F24M-VPI HIPS FAIR

Flash's Sire is an oversized Mini (which means he is a Standard, but was reg as a mini).  His sire is 17 inches tall.  All poodles can be interbred, as they are all Poodles.  The term "Toy, Mini, and Standard" only refer to the size of the dog.  Flash will be a Standard Poodle and will be registered as such.  I am excited to see just how big he will grow!
