His poor front (very narrow) and low drive temperament have made us decide that he just isn't what we are looking for to move forward with in our breeding program. My sisters Christmas Gifts included 12 weaves and 4 jumps. haha My last visit to AR I was able to attend his agility class. They have a great instructor who I think will have them showing in good order! Gatsby gets his Canine Good Citizen (CGC) and Therapy Dog International (TDI) titles in Sept 2007! NOV 10th-11th, 2007- Gatsby and Lisa show at their first AKC agility weekend. On Saturday it was their first show ever together and although they didn't qualify they both learned a lot. This prepared them for Sunday where Gatsby and Lisa got Qualifying Scores in both Novice Standard and Novice Jumpers and FIRST PLACE in both 24 inch classes!! Excellent Job Lisa and Gatsby!! TEMPERAMENT. Sweet, gentle, loving, calm, not much can startle this dog. He doesn't get excited in new situations and takes everything calmly. He is not dominant and should be good in all social situations that he will encounter. Gatsby is a little 'prissy' in that he doesn't like to get messy and after he is groomed he loves to be told how stunning he is. He will walk around so very proud after a grooming and act as if he is 'the king'. It's funny to watch a boy be such a princess. CONFORMATION: Gatsby is maturing nicely. He hast straight feet in front and back and a good tail set that isn't gay. He has a nice stylish head. His angles are moderate all around and he is nicely balanced. He needs a better front, like most Standard Poodles, but overall we are very pleased with his development. SIZE: He is going to be a large male. He is 25 inches at 14 months. HEALTH: Will be done as he grows up. vWD DNA carrier. Will only be bred to Clear females.
