It's been a few weeks since our last update since things have been so busy around here! Here is the current standing. :)
The pups are sleeping thru the night (8 hours no breaks to go out) with no issues. Each has spent some time in a crate alone and all know Sit to be petted or for a treat. They are very bright and sweet pups. Read below for puppy details.

Georgie is part of our foster program! ![]() ![]() Fifth Born: Female (Two Toes)- Blue w/front right two toes white HAS A NEW HOME!! Courtney and her wonderful family have taken on Two Toes and named her Georgie!
Hi Becky,
Well, I think we've finally done it. We have named our puppy Georgie.
She has been so difficult to name. Even the girls commented it's just
hard to find the right word to describe her personality! She is sooo
curious and into everything. She wants to explore, and smell and taste
everything she sees! I could write a book about all the funny things she
does everyday. For example she escaped from her tether today and I found
her in my bedroom in the jelly bean bag. She had licked them all. Eeeew!
Then during the kids easter egg hunt she wanted the eggs sooo badly. She
would grab them in her mouth. Empty out the candy and lay down to chomp
on the egg. She gathers the toys from the backyard and stores them under
the deck. She went to her first soccer game yesterday. She is so vocal
and kept griping at me for not letting her go where she wanted to go.
Finally our friend's daughter ran around with her until (two hours later)
she collapsed in a heap on the grass...she was sound asleep. Anyways I
could go on and on.
She and Abby are finally getting along better. Diane brought Chasky over
last week and Georgie wasn't nearly as submissive to him. She got right
in his face and played with him. She was still cowering to Abby. I
finally learned what you mean when you say Merlot rolls the dogs. I stood
outside with Abby and Georgie a couple days ago and Abby acted like she
wanted to play but she barked this deep, deep bark and would just go after
Georgie, grabbing the scuff of her neck. Georgie would go down and then
Abby would roll her with her nose, or Georgie would roll herself. They
went on and on. Then eventually Georgie would bark back. And now, their
play is totally different. Georgie will stay outside with Abby even if
I'm not there. She wouldn't do that before, I had to be right next to
her. It has been so interesting to watch. I guess they've established
who is the boss and all is well. Abby seems very happy to have her to
play with.
Anyways, so we've decided to call her Georgie, it's not too prissy,
because she definitely isn't that. Also she reminds us of Curious
George. She has her nose in everything! I am struggling with her
registered name and wondered if you have any suggestions. I can't tell
what flows or sounds silly. I know I'm probably worrying too much, but I
want her name to be just right. Here are some thoughts I've had and would
love your opinion or new ideas. I tried using Curious in the name because
of Curious George, but it doesn't necessarily have to be that way.
Oh I wanted to tell you Georgie's is very bright. She is learning sit
very easily. I ask her to sit every time she goes in or out and gets her
leash on. Also, the big one is sitting to be let out of her pen. She
starts jumping around and trying to push her way out the door, but she's
learned she won't get out until she sits and waits. She'll even wait when
the expen door is open until I tell her she can get out. She seems
promising because she is so curious. I think she'll be good at whatever
she does. It's exciting.

HUDSON![]() First Born: Male (Hudson)- Blue with no white markings IS IN HIS NEW HOME!! Hudson is now living in NM with the Davenports, their 3 girls and one kitty. Hudson made a real impression by sitting nicely in front of the fridge to get an 'icecube' treat. They love him and I think they will be keeping his name. I forgot to take his photo so hopefully Nancy will email me one of him soon. This photo was his 7 week old shot. HUDSON UPDATE Hope this email finds you healthy and rested. We are in love with our puppy! Hudson reminds us of Kona in so many ways. He is such a poodle!! The first two or three nights were rough. He really missed his pack. Friends told me I looked really tired. I would reply, that’s because I have a baby at home. He has started to sleep through the nights. Thank goodness.
Hudson had his Vet
check-up on Thursday, March 22, 2007. She asked for a stool sample. He
checked out fine. His next shot appointment is next weekend. The kids
and I stayed home with him all week working on house-breaking, writing down
his pee and poo schedule, looking for trends. Overall we are doing well.
Just thought you and Stacy would like to know. Nancy |

| SOPHIE Sixth Born: Female - Dark w/large white chest mark and right front paw white ![]() IN HER NEW HOME!! Katie is now Sophie!! Sophie has moved to PA to be with her mom, dad, and new Std Poodle brother!
Having a wonderful time in PA!
Sophie is the very brightest, shiniest pup.
Into everything, smartsmartsmart, very resilient, loves everyone she sees,
crazy for people-food (a pea-sized amount each day), chases robins from
the yard, uses Boomer and Belle as chewtoys, starts two puppy classes next
week, had her first grooming yesterday (very calm throughout), weighs
twenty pounds, was pronounced "perfect" by the vet, loves to dig holes,
thinks horse poop is a great snack, sleeps with her head under her stuffed
animals, chews all the furniture, bosses all of us, charms everyone she
meets, copies everything Boomer does, and did I mention no potty accidents
after day four?
When we got to the Cleveland Radisson, she
walked through two automatic doors, through the lobby, and into the
elevator like she'd been practicing for weeks.
We think she's a robot.
All the best,
Jan

| LAPA Second Born: Female -Blue w/ front left white paw ![]() IN HER NEW HOME!! Gladys is now Lapa and lives in Erie CO!
She has her wonderful mom and dad and canine friend to keep her company!
Lapa is adjusting well to her new home. She is in love with her big brother, and Nugget is tolerating her. He enjoys her more than he lets on. Lapa and Grady the cat are establishing some kind of understanding. We are starting to get into a routine that works for everyone. I think it is a good match. She has a great personality. Robin
