What a good mom!
Stacey has provided some small insight into the development of these pups.
Of course they are very very young but for those getting puppies any tidbit
about their development is fun to read. Enjoy!
 First Born: Male- Dark with no white markings |
First Born He is very sweet, not a pushover, but not pushy either. He weighs 3 lbs. 0 oz. |
Second Born She growls and squawks at others often, and told me that she didn’t like me rolling her (lovingly) on her back earlier today. Really growled at another pup for pushing her over today. Very cute though, and usually sits well in our laps (falls asleep). She weighs 3 lbs. 5 oz.

Third Born  Oh, I like all of the boys. This one is especially cuddly and seeks out human attention more than any of the other pups, so Kraig likes him best right now. He weighs 3 lbs. 3 oz. |
Fourth Born She is Morgan’s favorite. She is one that seems to have a very sweet disposition. Never in a hurry, not pushy, but obviously by her weight, she gets right in there. She also seems to like human interaction more than most of the others, though no one really avoids us. They are actually walking toward us most of the time. She weighs 3 lbs. 7 oz. making her the biggest at the moment.

Fifth Born: We all really like her! Super sweet and cuddly. She is the one who is all black except for two white toe tips on her right foot, so we call her “two toes”. I think we make more comments about her than anybody else. She was the first we noticed to open her eyes, and has been the first to track Rain, the other pups and us. She really comes toward us a lot! She weighs 3 lbs. 1 oz. |
Sixth Born I think we just like them all. She is very cute and sweet too, but is a bit more pushy than the other girls except for “Rain Jr.” who is pup #2. This one weighs 3 lbs. 5 oz., so she’s the same size as “Rain Jr.”. |

Seventh Born Last but not least is the one I am trying not to favor. This one can be a bit pushy and squawks more than the other boys, but is always friendly. He weighs 3 lb. 4 oz. |
