UPDATE FROM STACEY: They are all so adorable!  Some are a little ornery. Okay, they all have their mischievous moments, but isn’t that part of what makes puppies so fun?  They are all very smart.  I have not used the word “sit” yet, but they are learning to do it when I hold a treat over their noses.  They are coming when called as a group, “Puppies!”  And some of them are responding to their temporary names.  I wish I knew who was going where and what their names would be so I could start getting them used to their real names.

 I decided to get out the tunnel the other day, and they loved it!  They just watched Rain and Major run through it first, and we didn’t force anyone to try.  Soon they were all running back and forth through it and trying to jump on it, etc.  It was too windy for the tunnel yesterday and today, so hopefully we can try it again tomorrow.

 Rain finally seems completely dried up, but I still kept a shirt on her for most of the week because she still appeared somewhat full of milk and the pups kept trying to nurse and she wasn’t discouraging them.  Now she tells them no nursing, but plays with them really well and has been spending a fair amount of time disciplining her children.  The boys seems to spend more time on their backs being scolded than the girls.  Everyone was dewormed this week, and we’re due again the week you come.  I can’t think of anything else at the moment, but then again, I’m exhausted.  They are a lot of work, plus home schooling, plus Rain & Major, etc.  You are right, I will be happy when you get hereJ
