Health Update
on litter as of SEPT 2007
Remy:
"ANUTTA READY SET AND INTUIT" At two years of
age we had her removed from our foster program. A picky eater, moody,
dominant. Remy
has done great as a working dog, but she wasn't meant to be a mommy.
Temperament is just as important as structure to us here at Anutta.
Kona "ANUTTA KANANI
KONA": did NOT get her teeth in by age 8 weeks. Because of this issue, I
held on to her until she did start getting her puppy teeth at 12 weeks.
Everything is now fine but was delayed.
Merlin "ANUTTA FINE MAGIC": Doing great and being a typical Teenage boy. No health issues to
date. Very nice boy. To bad he's neutered!! <grin>
Rain: "ANUTTA SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS" Fully health tested and part of breeding program. Healthy, good weight, good eater, a little dominant but not beyond reason.
Max: (Owners never registered with AKC) Doing well and spoiled last I heard. No health issues to date
Chloe: (Owners never registered with AKC) Also doing well and spoiled. Very healthy to date
Zac "ANUTTA EXACT DREAM COME TRUE": Suffered from Bloat. Also a worrier and picky eater.
RAIN "ANUTTA
SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS" is the only
intact puppy from this litter. So far she has produced one litter for us.

Just born, getting one of the first meals. Sadie is tired!!
Sadie will NOT breed to an outside male. I have tried 2 different times, with two different studs. Because of this, I bred her to Major last year to see if it was emotional (not liking to be away from home) or physical (sterility). She did have a litter, and so we must assume she just doesn't like to travel. This year, we had hoped to breed her via Artificial Insemination to one of the males I tried before. However, the frozen semen has not been acquired as of yet. Sadie is in season 1.5 months early!! The second option was to breed her with Merlot.

MERLOT: Sire and number one poodle of my home. He is MY dog. The love of my
life (Husband aside), even if he is a bit moody and can be a pain. I spoil him more than
the rest and he knows it. HEALTH: OFA Fair, CERF normal, SA normal, vWD clear, Thyroid normal. He is a Black and
5 years old. He goes back to generations of health tested dogs and I
know his lines pretty well. He is a picky eater, and has had a couple of
ear infections in his life. He has hair growing deep down in his ears,
which is the cause. Have to stay on top of the ears and he is good to go.
He has a low pain tolerance and when he is sick at all, he walks around
like he is dying. Reminds me of my husband. hehe. TEMPERAMENT: Loving,
Devoted, Protective, too smart for his own good. He can be Pushy and
demanding for attention. Merlot is a thinker and sometimes he over thinks a
situation. I ask him to do something, and he will think of all the options,
I just have to hope he decides the same thing I am thinking. He is funny.
He loves to make me laugh. He is strong willed and the dominant dog of the
house. He can be a jerk, and he can be a lover all in the same hour. He
keeps me entertained. He will also worry if I am ill or not on my
normal schedule. If I am sick enough to be in bed, he will refuse to
leave my side. STRUCTURE: His coat and texture is far better than
Sadie. His ear length and set are better. His eyes are more correct, hers
are too round. They are a good match and should produce some nice well
rounded pups. Past Litter Info- Merlot has sired 3 litter. His pups tend to grow up to be thinkers and very devoted to their family. |
Sadie:
4 years old in Feb, Silver and a tiny 21 inch tall. HEATH: OFA Good (normal hips),
CERF Normal (no eye issues), SA normal (no skin issues), vWD DNA normal
(blood disorder). TEMPERAMENT: Sadie is super sweet, the
PRINCESS, gentle, but she is a huntress!
She loves to watch the birds, squirrels, and cats next door. She hasn't
attacked anything, but she sure loves to watch. I think she would have made
an excellent Upland Game dog. She isn't a retriever though. Not at all.
You throw it away, you can go get it, or send one of those other poodles.
<Grin> Sadie is a soft dog and needs little to no corrections. A Sadie NO
is all it takes. She is a natural on a leash. The only time she ever pulls
at all is if she sees a cat and that is still VERY gentle. She is great
with kids and small dogs. Loves to play with pups and isn't dominant at
all. She is a little protective and is a watcher of the house. If
something scary is coming, she lets us know, but then leaves it in our hands
to take care of. She is a good pet temperament.
She has her Canine Good Citizen title and is ready to show in Obedience, but
she really HATES it. It is a controlling thing to her and since she is so
submissive to us, she doesn't do well in controlling environments. I am
probably not going to make her show, since she does not enjoy it. Agility
she loves, so when she is ready for that, we will go that route.
STRUCTURE: Fabulous body type and head type. She moves like a
dream. Her angulation is moderate, yet balanced.

Temperaments should be suitable for Working, Show, Pet, and Breeding.

PLEASE NOTE:: It is getting hot, so
shipping a puppy from Yuma/Phoenix is going to be close to impossible.
If you can fly down here on the weekend of the 12th-13th of June, and carry
your puppy on the plane with you, that is the only way I will fly a puppy this
litter. ALSO, We are moving to Colorado Springs, CO around the 17th-18th
of June. This will only allow one weekend, 12th-13th of June, for
pickup/delivery of your pup if you live in the AZ/CA area. If you
are closer to CO, I will be happy to bring your puppy with us when I move, for
pickup in Colorado. Sorry for the mess. We did not have positive
notification of our move until after the puppies were born.
