About Zelda

1. TEMPERAMENT.  Happy and very fun loving!  Zelda is much like her father, Flash.  Active and needs a toy in her mouth to be truly happy.  This little dog has more retrieving drive than 90% of Standard Poodles out there.  She is a go getter and very smart.   She isn't shy but she is a touch dominant.  She is going to produce some top end working dogs, just like her daddy before her.

2. CONFORMATION: She is more refine than her father, she has a better head than Flash as well, though not as good as her mother (Rain).  I believe she is a good step forward in type but still retains the working drive of her dad.  A touch longer than tall, tail set needs to be improved.  Great front and balanced rear. 

3. SIZE: She is a small female at UNDER 20 inches!

4. HEALTH TESTING:  Visit OFA for current results! Current testing results are OFA Good hips, Normal Elbows, SA normal, Thyroid Normal, CERF just done and also normal.  Awaiting updating of CERF website and then OFA to pick up the new info.

Zelda is the puppy we kept in our foster program from our only 2008 litter.  She lives with Diane and her family in Arkansas.

Zelda gained her RN title in three shows!  Way to go Diane and Zelda!  I know it was stressful for you and appreciate how you did this for the breeding program!  Diane and Zelda now spend their time doing Therapy and entertaining children as a 'clown' team!!

Our current plan is for Zelda is to have her first litter Middle of  2011.  We are still thinking about Studs but as it stands it will likely be River, if his health testing results come back normal next summer when he turns 2 years of age.
