UPDATE: Ivan has been sold to a lovely family in Dallas!!

Do you know the saying “don’t get to attached?”  Well, when you have a puppy like Ivan it is extremely hard!  This puppy is such a joy to have in my home.  You have probably noticed I stepped back from advertising him, because I am simply not in a mad rush to find him a home.  I want the absolute best for him, someone who will appreciate his intelligence, devotion, and joy.  He is no trouble, fits into our home like he was born here, and is very confident in his place in the world.

Ivan has had the distinct advantage of living at CAMP BAXTER longer than his litter mates.  This means he is now fully integrated into home life.  He sleeps in a crate, knows basic obedience, has general home manners, learned not to jump up for attention, is grasping what is a toy and what isn’t, etc.  Ivan has had all his vaccinations as well, so no more trips to the vet other than for his new home to introduce him to their vet and to get a monthly weight for his heartworm medications.

This lovely boy has been raised around kids of all ages.  His breeder has teenagers and I have twin 10 year olds.  Our good friends visit for the weekend and their 6 year old son and 2 year old daughter also showed him younger children are also wonderful.   We have had many other visitors and repair folks here to allow him the opportunity to see all people are wonderful.  He has visited petco, petsmart, and tractor supply and had zero problems other than mild car sickness!!  If I had to point out any problems it would be the sick tummy when traveling, which is common in baby pups.  Ivan turns into a drool machine!  I am sure this will decrease with time and I will continue to work with him on this slight issue.

If you think your home might work for this boy, let me know.  Ivan adores people and is eager to please, which will make training a piece of cake.  He could be pushy with his brothers, so ideally a home with a female dog or in a home by himself would be best.  He never pushed around his sisters and always grovels at the feet of my girls.  Even my Miniature Poodle girls can tell him what to do!  My adult males are great with him and are working on teaching him good manners, but he is young and eventually might push back.  Males tend to let females lead, which is why I am seeking this combination.  I’ve crated him totally alone many times to make sure he would be ok going to a home to be someone’s ‘one and only’ boy.

Purchase price is $2000.00
