Such sad news!

It is with much regret that I announce Jingle is not pregnant.  I know a lot of people will be sad to hear this, but it is the hard fact of breeding.  While we were excited to have pups sired by Guage, Locket’s dad, now the plan will be to breed Jingle to Cody during her next cycle.  After that litter we will try again with Guage, once Jingle has more experience and we know exactly when she is likely to be fertile.   Cody will help us determine her cycle and allow us to have more options in the future.  We had planned to use him with her second litter anyway, so now he will sire her first instead.

What’s Next?

Unless something changes, we do plan to breed her in the spring for summer pups.  It is likely her litter will be ready around August of next year for those willing to wait.  Because Cody is brown and Jingle carries brown, we will get half black shades and half brown shades.  Both Cody and Jingle are faded, so plan on mostly blues, silvers, cafe’s and silver beige pups.  Even if a puppy looks black, we will assume they will fade to some degree.
