We are pleased to announce the FIRE litter, born Sunday October 14th, 2018. Libby was a stellar mom and whelped these little fireballs with no issue. I didn’t even get a phone call from Sue with a single question. They are an experienced team now! One girl and three lovely boys were born, but Sue plans to keep the girl, so she isn’t available at this time. This is Libby’s second and last litter. This litter has show length DOCKED TAILS but dewclaws have been left for those interested.

The male pups are available as pets and will be raised and placed in Kansas by Sue. Please contact Sue directly with questions about the babies. They are all blue or black in color (blues fade later, yet are born inky black), some with white markings on the feet and chest. The stud was selected using diversity tools on the website Betterbred. He is genetically unrelated to Libby, so we hope for excellent health from these babies. Ashes, the sire, is calm and a total doll. Libby LOVED HIM! We should get an excellent mix of calm, sweet, therapy type temperaments (dad) and more active hunting, family dogs (mom). These guys will mature 20-24 inches like their parents, though I am betting most of the boys take after their dad and go mid size at 24 inches. Some might stay small, but it is hard to say.

UKC CH, UROI Anutta Lady Liberty CGC
Libby is 6 years old. She has produced one litter prior. This will be Libby’s second and last litter. Sue will be keeping pick female for herself, but all other babies will be available as pets to the right homes on AKC LIMITED REGISTRATION. Libby is a small female with good retrieving drive, but is a calm pet as well. She hunts upland with her dad, so she might produce some nice hunting pups!
UKC Grand Champion Shyre’s Sanguine Ashes
Ashes live in Ohio and is bred and owned by Rebekah of Shyre Poodles. He is an outlier male with diverse bloodlines and paired well with Libby using the UC Davis diversity DNA testing tools on Better Bred. According to the data Libby and Ashes are unrelated, so Sue, Rebekah, and I hope this litter will produce some outstanding healthy dogs. Ashes is a sweet, calm male who should provide a great temperament balance to Libby’s more outgoing nature. Ashes lives with a house full of kids and is beloved by all.
