A few months ago I was handed a mini business card, approximately half the size of a normal card. This was not something I had seen before, so I asked where they had those cute cards made. The response was “Oh that is a Moo Card, I did them myself on their website!” Moo Card… the name is catchy, easy to remember. I came home and did a search for Moo Cards and found the site easily. I checked out the site, liked what I saw and filed it away for future reference.
As most of you know, we moved last summer from San Antonio to the Fort Hood area. We are still in TX, but we no longer have a home phone and our address changed. I made the mistake of including these details on my previous batch of business cards. In addition, several people have ask me for cards recently, to hand out while they walk their dogs. They know I am having puppies this year, and wanted to have something easy to give interested individuals.
With this in mind, last week I took myself back to the Moo website. I needed some new cards and needed them fast. After considering both the regular business cards and these new ‘mini’ cards, I went with the latter. The mini’s seem to be ideal for what I wanted. Small and cheaper than the full size version (always good). You can use stock photos, text only, or upload your own images. There can be up to 100 different images for the front of the cards at no extra cost. No joke, if you buy 100 cards and want 100 different images on the card, you can do it. The interface to upload is user friendly, simply upload your photos in mass. Once the photos are processed, the cards will pop up and you can determine if the photo is going to look correct on the card. You can orient the card both Landscape and Portrait, zoom in or out to insure the crop looks correct. I had about 10 photos that simply did not work on these cards, but the remaining 30 looked wonderful. I am very pleased with the results.
As you can see, I kept my information very simple. Name, website, email. No catchy slogan’s, no detailed information that was likely to change like the colors I breed or location of our home. The quality of the paper is wonderful. A nice thick card stock. The print quality is also professional. Turn around on the order was less than a week. There are cheaper business card company’s on the internet, but I can say I haven’t found one that was easier to use or more professional. I’m very pleased with my super cute “Mini Moo Cards!” If you need a stack to hand out to folks, let me know. I got some cards and I’m not afraid to use them!!

Those are beautiful, Becky! I love them. What a great idea.
Hey Becky – can you send me a few of them for my agility bag? I am asked for your info about once every three shows I’m at!! Everyone loves Boomerang and a card would be great to hand over:-). I’m still in Prior Lake.
Becky,
Would also like some of your cards. We are asked about our breeder every time we take Elvira out. We’re always writing your website on napkins, scraps of paper and backs of hands! And thanks for including Elvira in your photos.
Sounds good, Sherri and Elizabeth. I’ve got a new computer so if you can email me your addresses again, it would save time. Otherwise I’ll have to dig around on my backup.
Thanks Sherri for sending your address.
Elizabeth, I found yours saved on AOL’s server. Use to be that my old mail was linked to the computer. Now they keep a copy on a cloud!! I didn’t have to check my backup hard drive or my old computer.
Mailing both of you cards today.
