I have returned from my 2 weeks in the UK.  What a whirlwind trip that was!  I’ll upload some select photos when I get home and get them sorted and edited.  For now, I wanted to post a link to the aptitude test I will be using today for the pups.  This link has a lot of information on how the test works and how to understand the results.  Courtney and Sarah are bringing the litter down to my sisters house in Conway, AR.  The test is always done in a location where the pups have never been with someone who doesn’t know them, in this case that is Me.  I am eager to see how they test!  For those getting  a puppy from this litter, please read this over carefully so you will understand the results when I contact you to descuss pups.  This test is just a small tool in the big picture.  I will also be evaluating the pups Bio Sensor results and speaking to Courtney about her person experiences with the litter over the last 7 weeks.  A puppy can have a bad test day.  If a puppy scores completely different than what Courtney has seen, such as being frozen with fear during the test but normally is not so fearful, I will take that into account as well.  Most Standard Poodles test well and accurately, as they are a very flexible breed and able to adapt to a day of travel and a stranger handling them.

Volhard’s Puppy Aptitude Testing

Hopefully you all will get an email or phone call by this evening at the lastest.  I will test the pups then pack up and drive back to TX today.  Keith has to be at work tomorrow!!  Yeah I know, I’m tired just thinking about it.  Absolutely worth it, though.  I am excited to have puppies in the house again!!
