I had Miss Jingle here for grooming last week and was able to get a couple good photos of her wandering the yard after I was finished. Most Standard Poodles do not start to mat until they reach 9 months to a year, but Jingle is a very light blue and they can have a slightly softer coat texture which tends to felt at the skin. It is a juxtaposition of soft under coat and harsher outer coat which causes the problems. So, I took her down pretty short for a puppy, but man does she carry the cut off well. She is one nicely balanced girl who hasn’t hit a skinny, leggy stage yet! Jingle does enjoy her food and is an easy keeper. There are no UKC shows around here until August / September time frame anyway, so carrying all that dark coat over the San Antonio summer would be crazy. The poor girl would pass out!
I did finally create her webpage on the main site. Someone was asking me about her and I realized I hadn’t added her as yet. I’m such a slacker!
Jingle is going to look exactly like Jazz when she is mature. It is obvious they are related! I need to do a side by side photo collage of Jazz and Jingle.
