Mabel and Cody litter: Tentative list of puppy homes:

Mabel is so loved.

You guys cannot tell me this isn’t the most adorable thing ever!  This is why I put my girls in guardian homes.  Seriously, what a great idea and you can tell these babies will be adored by all.  You would never see these from some breeder who has 10 plus dogs living in their home.

Previous owners who are interested in this litter are as follows:

Christie – Female only – performance prospect
Leigh –  male preferred – family pet.
Gail – Female only – pet
Sara – Female only – pet
Maria – I’m not sure if they have a preference on sex, and I am not sure if they wanted a puppy from Jingle or Mabel.  I will ask.  Jay is super good with other dogs, so if they want a male, I will allow it.

I’m keeping a female.  If all of these families take a puppy and I keep one, we will have only ONE single puppy available for a new family.  Most of the above homes already own males, and I always encourage people to go with male / female pet combinations.  A male and a female will always get along.  Two spayed females usually are fine as well.  Two males can go either way and it depends on a list of factors.  Is the male they currently have very needy or clingy?  Is he very dominant, pushy, obnoxious?  Either of these things can cause tension between two males.  Christie, who owns Bandit from the Libby and Clooney litter, absolutely must go female.  Bandit is a high drive, dominant male.

I have about 10 approved applications from new families, so I won’t be taking any more.  If you already own one of my dogs and are interested in this litter, let me know.  Previous buyers get priority.

Anyway, this is what happens when you take a 3 year break from breeding.   Homes who are open to males will have a better chance at a puppy from Mabel, but we will know more in about a week.  This list is not set in stone, but hopefully it will give everyone some basic idea and understanding of why I do not take deposits.

Courtney is as prepared as she can be.  I think we have covered everything we need to for this birth.  When she mentioned it has been 9 years since Georgie gave birth, I was shocked.  Time really does fly.
