Courtney took Mabel in to get a head count on how many babies to expect.  Looks like we have 7 little loves coming our way next week!  This is my favorite size litter.  Enough to select the next generation, but not so many the mom and her human are over burdened.  This is such an exciting time!

For those concerned, x-ray technology has come a long way.  This image is digital and the radiation exposure to the babies is minimal.  We always wait until right before the babies are born and the bones are all formed to take any images.  This is common practice and vets are very supportive of knowing how many babies are coming.
