The past week has been crazy.  My husband decided it was time for him to buy a new car.  We drive our cars for years, average lifespan of a car in this family is 10 years.  We also put some mega miles on them.  My husbands Subaru Outback is sitting at 180,000 miles.  We put a lot of effort into finding the right car at the right price.  Because of this, we spent most of last week and the weekend driving every single small to mid size SUV on the planet.  Then we narrowed those down to a few select models by Sunday.  Finally yesterday he found the right car a 2011 Honda Pilot.  It was 2.5 hours away from us, but thankfully when we arrived it was just as advertized and ideal for our family. Maybe I will get to drive it to some dog shows this fall!  I have a few trips on the ole schedule!  I mean I really need to give my van a break and put a few miles on another vehicle, right?!?

Sarah, Pipers foster mommy, sent me a couple of really cute shots of Piper yesterday in the fall foliage.

Piper is from our Spring / Summer 2012 litter between Georgie and River.  She is 7 months old and blue in color.

Anutta Pup Speakin’ Up

Sarah tells me that grandma Courtney is coming over today to help groom Piper for some official website photos!  I can’t wait to see her all done after her spa day.
